Rock and Roll Children's Art

The last member of The Herbivores is Zeke. With his natural Mohawk he was the obvious choice as the bands lead singer. No really says he has a bad voice but the hyenas just laughed when we asked them what they thought. He has always wanted to be a singer and spends every available moment practicing. He suffered a minor set back last spring when park rangers mistook his warbling for cries of pain and tranquilized him. After recovering from multiple exploratory surgeries he is back to singing full time.

You can find Zeke and his band mates here.

Rock 'n Roll Art for Kids

The next member of The Herbivores I'd like you to meet is Jack. He is a native of Montana and met the rest of The Herbivores while on safari with his family. He plays lead guitar and is also the manager of the band. His experience cross in rocky terrain makes him the natural choice to navigate the treacherous world of rock 'n roll.

You can find Jack and his band mates here.

Are your Kids Afraid of the Dark?

Trendy Tykes has just announced it's new product line featuring my monster designs. They are producing a line of monster related products designed to help kids who are afraid of the dark. They are also just plain cute and cuddly! Here is a little preview of Raz as a stuffed toy. Isn't it adorable? Stay tuned because I'll be sharing more as they release them.

Rockin' Nursery Art

The next member of The Herbivores I'd like to meet is Max. He plays the bass guitar. As a water buffalo he often has trouble keeping up with the other more lively members of the band. He has a good head for rhythm though and keeps the band from bouncing off track.

You can find Max and his band mates here.

Rock 'n Roll Nursery Art: The Herbivores

I would like to introduce a brand new rock band: The Herbivores. The first member of the band is Eddie. He was discovered while drumming on rock outside his heard on the south African savanna. Being a gazelle he likes a fast jumpy beat.

You can find him and his band mates here.

Freelance Work and Vacation

I have a bunch of stamp drawings to do and four illustrations for the same children's magazine I did this illustration for.  I may miss a few of my normal daily posts. Don't worry I'll be back! But first I have to go visit my college roommates. It will be my first weekend away since my son was born. Wish my husband luck. He's going to need it! Any emails that I get over the weekend will be answered on Monday.
