Thanks for your nice comments. My current Prachett favorite is "Going Postal". Probably because of my current job as a government contractor so the analogy is really hits home! I have a problem that so many of his books "run together" for me and I can't remember which is which. I like the ones with a lot of "DEATH" and his horse (whose name so crack me up). :-)
When I was a kid, we had a mail slot in the door (we lived in England) and since we taught the dog to fetch the paper (something she became obsessed with) she would absolutely freak out any time she heard the mail flap going. One day, the postman was delivering mail, she heard the flap, but couldn't wait. So she jumped through the glass part of the door and out to the postman. I think he about peed his pants. :) Postman is certainly safer with pups inside (if they can stay inside.)
